Dear God

11 September 2017 – 8:18 PM

Dear God, Divine Mother/Father/Son as One. Please hear my prayer.

Please heal me in all ways. I am imperfect and am sorry for all the mistakes I have made and will continue to make. I am heartfully sorry. I know nothing. I have been arrogant and judgmental. I bow before Thee and trust that You will heal all my many afflictions. Please and thank you.

Mother Mary with me at the Mayo Clinic, 9 September 2017.  This statue is from Rome, Italy.  I retrieved it from my parents’ home during the estate sale.

Dear Mother Mary — Divine Mother — Please cradle me as a child in your Arms and Heart. Please support me and Love me no matter what. Please watch over me. Please do not abandon me. I am a small, scared child. Please comfort me.

I have made many mistakes. I know that I do not know. Please make not knowing OK to me. I do not need to know. I do not want to know. Please only show me the next step on my path of service to You and to ALL.

Please fill my heart with Your Love so that I am not afraid.

Please give me Your Peace.

Please always be with me.

Please Angels — Please Angels walk with me. Please help me find the way. Please help me find the best way I can to serve You and All Humanity and Mother Earth and ALL.

Please make my mind calm and empty and at peace and content with Your Will.

Please wipe my tears away and the tears of all who suffer. Please comfort those who suffer, me included because I am suffering. Please lift this burden off my Heart. Please show me Thy Mercy and Forgiveness for I have sinned a lot in my pride.

I know nothing.
I am nothing except Your Divine Creation.
Please help me serve You in LOVE.
Thy Will be done.

Please help me be a better person.
Please heal me.
Please heal me.
Please heal me.
You know best what I need and I trust You implicitly.

Please help me stand in LOVE and be not afraid even when I’m in pain.

Please take the pain from me if that is for The Highest Good.

I am here to serve You. Please help me when I am weak and falter. Please help this poor, weak one. I need help. I am not all powerful. You Are. I am an imperfect Being who needs Your Divine Help. I am not perfect. I am cracked and broken. Please help me put the pieces back together. Please heal my Heart, my Head, my Soul, my Body — all that I AM.

Please and thank you.

I have fallen.
Please help me.
Please pick me up, dust me off, and put me back on the road.

Please help me Serve You.

Please envelop me in Your Love and Forgiveness so that I may forgive and love myself and others.

Please heal my broken heart if that is Your Will. If not, please give me the strength to prevail.

Please give me Peace now and always. Please give me Peace. Your Peace.

With Love and Thanks, I AM your Humble Servant,

Elizabeth Carmel Xavier Battocletti

Peace be with us

If there is to be peace in the world, there must be peace in the nations. If there is to be peace in the nations, there must be peace in the cities. If there is to be peace in the cities, there must be peace between neighbors. If there is to be peace between neighbors, there must be peace in the home. If there is to be peace in the home, there must be peace in the heart. — Lao Tzu

I’m on constant edge these days.

San Diego Harbor Cruise. From left to right: Me, Tom, Teri, Renee, Tony.

Perhaps it’s because I just got back from eight days in “sunny” San Diego.  Teri and Tom flew in from Milwaukee to visit Roan and me. We had a non-stop week:

  • Temecula wineries,
  • A southern harbor tour and lunch in Little Italy with cousin Renee and her new beau,
  • Eating at Souplantation and Roberto’s and Denny’s,
  • Shopping for flooring at Lowe’s with Teri’s help and musical instruments at Guitar Center and Alan’s Music Center with Tom’s help.

Perhaps it’s my onerous To Do List:

  • Write this blog post;
  • Go back to The Sun Works to get the leak discovered during a torrential downpour in El Cajon, an eastern suburb of San Diego, fixed;
  • Go to Salvation Mountain to meet with Ron, a journeyman floorer, to talk vinyl planking;
  • Dump and fill tanks;
  • Work on my new business, Pegasus Speaks Designs;
  • Learn a new-to-me autoharp;
  • Practice songs for acoustic nights at California Ponderosa and the Oasis;
  • Book flights for my cousin David’s mid-March wedding;
  • Schedule a conference call with an editor to discuss my book;
  • Find out what’s wrong with Roan’s nose…
El Cajon weather 20 January 2017
I arrived at the El Cajon Elks Lodge in a torrential downpour. The region got about two inches of rain the week we were there.

Or perhaps it’s the uncertainty that permeates the atmosphere.  The world reflects back a collective disquiet.  Can you feel it?  Mother Earth does; weather is odd all over.

Whatever the causes, I feel harried and hurried.

All I want — all most people want — is peace. But how do we find peace in a world where we’re bombarded by bad news a nanosecond after it happens, where talking heads scream at each other across studio tables, where up is down and down is up?

Peace begins in our hearts. If we can find peace through whatever means work for each of us —  be they walking or reading or dancing or listening to Solfeggio frequencies or running or yoga or… we can pass the peace on.  We can increase global peace  one iota at a time until all the iotas add up to a tsunami, flooding the world in loving kindness.

Peace. Join the Evolution.

It’s official

I completed YogaWorks’ 200-hour Teacher Training this past Sunday, Easter Sunday. Interesting coincidence. The results aren’t official but our teacher Michelle assures us that we all passed. The last day of class was bittersweet as all endings are.

I’ll stick around the Garden Grove Elks Lodge #1952 a few more weeks. I’ve signed up for Chair Yoga Teacher Training April 8, 9, and 10. Lakshmi Voelker, creator of Get Fit Where You Sit, is teaching the class.

Being able to teach chair yoga will allow me to work with a wider range of students. In thanks for their hospitality to Roan and me, I’m offering a free chair yoga class to Elks Lodge members. I’ll see how many people sign up to sit down.

Apart from teacher training and yoga classes, I’ve spent my time…

  • Attending a fashion show at the Art Institute during Orange County Fashion Week courtesy of cousin Renee. Professor Renee, head of the Fashion Design Department at Fullerton College, helped judge the student show.

  • Going to a Singles Dance Party at the Elks Lodge with Renee and her friend, Della. The Lemondrop Club hosted the dance. I had no excuse not to go since it was just across the parking lot. I danced like a fool.
  • Driving up to Los Angeles to meet and thank in person Christina at YogaWorks Santa Monica for her help, and to visit with Sue.
  • Designing a t-shirt to raise money for New Paradigm Multi-Dimensional Transformation™ .
  • Tracking down a missing vehicle registration renewal form for Pegasus. I learned that the Post Office doesn’t forward “official” mail from the Wisconsin DMV.
  • Surveying Battocletti/e family members on the possibility of a reunion this summer.
  • Drafting and revising a yoga-centric resume. Thanks to Cathy, Faun, Jeanette, Sue, and Tom for their excellent feedback.
  • Designing a logo for my new yoga teaching business. Sue gave me the name:  Have Yoga, Will Travel. I like it.  Thanks Sue.

  • Working on my 2015 tax returns, vacuuming frequently in an unsuccessful attempt to keep dirt at bay, and yes — dumping the tanks every six days. I’ve become quite adept at using the Blue Boy (Taking a dump).
  • Getting a tiny purple peace sign tattoo on my right hand to match the tiny red heart on my left. Thanks Jeff at Dr. Tattoo Studios.

So, the current plan — it may change tomorrow (Call me jello) — is to leave Garden Grove on Monday, April 18th. I’ll head back to Menifee for two weeks and then start the 636-mile drive north to Mt. Shasta.

Mt. Shasta has long been revered by the Native Americans of the area, who regard it as the center of creation. In recent decades it has also attracted New Age followers, who believe the mountain to be a source of mystical power.

I hope things are “mystical” wherever you are dear reader.

Happy Spring!

The t’s have it

I’ve been inspired by James Twyman to design a t-shirt.

James Twyman runs the World Peace Pulse website.

He is organizing a synchronized meditation during a Donald Trump rally on 21 March 2016 (city to be announced) and at every rally in the next several months.

rainbow peace signIn his 3 March 2016 email, he asks:

…what would happen if a handful of people were present at every Donald Trump rally wearing a T-shirt that says simply: “Meditating For Peace.”  They won’t say a word, just sit quietly and pray during the speeches. And what if every time it happens thousands of people from around the world participated energetically?

I like that.  Meditating for rather than warring against.

James Twyman’s goal is to inspire Peaceful Sit-ins at every Donald Trump event, as well as other candidates for President.

Why stop there?

Why not declare 21 March 2016 — the Spring Equinox — Global Meditating for Peace Day?

Why not declare the 21st day of every month Global Meditating for Peace Day?

Heck — why not declare every day Global Meditating for Peace Day?

Hey — I’m in.   How about you?

Please take a few moments to answer the questions below.

If enough people are interested, I’ll place an order.

I may place an order even if “enough” people aren’t interested. A la Field of Dreams.

Yes — that’s just how I roll.

Thanks and Peace Out.
